About the Guide

I’m a 25-year-old wilderness guide with a deep-rooted connection to the forest. Ever since I was a child, I’ve spent my days fishing, hunting, and foraging — nature has always been my home.

Over time, I’ve come to understand just how powerful and healing the outdoors can be. That’s why I’m passionate about sharing it with others in a way that’s responsible and respectful to the environment.

For three years, I worked as a guide with Taiga Times in Helsinki’s tourism scene. During that time, I had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the field — special thanks to Jeff and Kiia for their mentorship and inspiration.

Whether I’m leading a hike, teaching about edible plants, or just sitting quietly by a campfire, my goal is always the same: to help people reconnect with the wild and with themselves.

I’m currently studying at the University of Tampere and work as a part-time guide alongside my studies. I lead small groups of 4–8 people on guided nature trips to beautiful spots in the Tampere area. Every trip includes transportation and a delicious outdoor meal — all you need to do is show up and enjoy the experience!

Not only am I interested in nature, but I’m also fascinated by people and their stories. I find guiding small groups rewarding, as it allows me to share and hear about each guest’s life.

I speak English, German, and Finnish fluently, so I’m able to guide in all three languages.
